• Does it make things up?

  It answers from your directory and your own content. If it isn't sure, it says so and shows you the question so you can add an answer.

• Do we need a developer?

  No. Setup is built for chamber staff. The only technical step is pasting one line of code, and the “Send to my web person” button emails step-by-step instructions for your website platform. We’re also happy to do it with your login.

• How does it recommend businesses?

  Only from your member directory. It matches what the visitor asked for (dog-friendly, open late, near the beach) against your members’ details, and every recommendation and click is logged for that member’s report.

• Does it work for residents, or just tourists?

  Both. Visitors ask about places to eat, stay and explore; residents ask about trash day, permits and parking. It answers each from the content you give it.

• Can we use our own logo and colors?

  Yes. Every plan sets the widget’s color and launcher to match your site. Standard removes the “Powered by VisitorDesk” badge, and Premium adds full custom branding.

• Which CRMs does it work with?

  Any of them. VisitorDesk AI takes the CSV or Excel export from GrowthZone, ChamberMaster, MemberClicks, Weblink, or a plain spreadsheet. Direct sync connectors come later.

• What if a member’s hours are wrong?

  Hours show where they came from and when, plus a “confirm before visiting” note. Staff can correct any field, and the monthly refresh keeps things current.

• What happens if we get slammed in July?

  Chats never shut off mid-season. Paid plans have no conversation cap, so a busy summer is simply a busy summer.

• Who sees our visitor data?

  Only your organization. Each account is separate and isolated. Reports contain counts and topics only, and small numbers are grouped so no single visitor can be identified.
